Wireless dock makes interconnectivity between laptops and desktops a breeze

A new wireless laptop docking system from Source R&D - dubbed "Warpia" - can connect a desktop to a laptop via a USB dongle on the laptop and a USB receiver on the larger machine.
The effect, according to tech blog Slashgear, is impressive: "Yes, there are other options for wirelessly syncing your laptop to your PC, but Source R&D is ahead of the game with their level of wireless technology. Above all, you're able to wirelessly sync between a Mac-based platform to a Windows-based one without any trouble or extra cables. It just works."
Warpia connects the larger computer's mouse and keyboard to the laptop using sophisticated wireless control drivers and a proprietary radio technology, Slashgear reports, and provides real-time screen synchronization between the two systems. Additionally, the blog says, the $150 price tag is relatively reasonable for the technology involved.
Experts say that device convergence - the blurring of the lines between various types of device - is already well underway, but that solutions like Warpia are necessary until users are only working on a single type of machine.
